What Makes Up a Paper Cup Fan?

1. Barrier Coating

2. Printing (Optional)

If the finished paper cups will feature a logo, design, or branding, the coated paperboard roll is printed with the desired graphics before being cut.

3. Die-Cutting

After coating and printing, the large paperboard roll is fed into a die-cutting machine. This machine precisely cuts out individual pieces in a specific fan-like shape. This unique tapered shape is crucial because when rolled, it perfectly forms the cone or frustum (the main body) of a paper cup of a particular size.
