What is PE Coating?

PE coating, also known as polyethylene extrusion coating, is a process of uniformly coating molten polyethylene plastic onto the surface of a substrate (in this case, paper cup base paper) through precision molds.

A vivid metaphor: It's like evenly spreading a layer of melted chocolate sauce on a piece of bread, and the chocolate will firmly adhere to the bread after cooling. Here, "bread" is the base paper of paper cups, and "melted chocolate sauce" is the melted PE, which forms a continuous plastic film on the paper after "cooling".
